Well, another epic field day event is over. I have loaded some photos from the event into the gallery, you can get there directly by clicking here.

It was a fun event, and this year's field day was dedicated to the memory of VE7OSO. It was strange to see his van there without him.

Memorable events included:

• VE7MKA parking his truck on the power cable so he could not plug in
• VE7QBV sweating in his van doing 20m
  
• VE7TUG's chicken dinner on Saturday
• VE7HGH's outstanding PR activities
• When VE7JT finally got that hard-to-get contact.
  
• When I got that 45 Alpha station on Sunday.

Field day weekend was certainly very hot. We all cooked out in the sun, and I was glad to get back home to a cold shower.

I am working on editing the video footage, and should have DVDs ready in a while. Keep bugging me about it until I get them done. :)
