As of last weekend we had our annual Field Day Planning meeting. Thanks to Gordy for providing the food! Fred got stuck in the elevator, but managed to free himself. Gordy called Fred "Otis" from then on. After that nobody dared use the elevator again that evening...
We watched the video of last year's Field Day event, which was dedicated to VE7OSO. We missed Kamil, because he was sick. We hope he recovers soon. As
for planning, most is the same as last year. At the top we will have
the Turks on 40m CW, and the 20m beam. At the middle we will have the
40m voice on a wire loop (I hope VE7QBV can
make it again). On the lower area, we have the GOTA station and the
10/15/80m station. That will have us as 4ABC status (GOTA does not
count). Looking forward to Field Day... Error, missing joomlaboard config file!
