Cedar Rapids Bug PDF Print E-mail

The Electro Specialty Company manufactured this bug in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in the late 1930's and on. This bug was unique in that it was sold in kit form. It was available in different finishes and colours. This particular one is in a black crinkle finish. It is commonly known as the 'Cedar Rapids Bug'.

I just bought one at a flea market in Oskaloosa, IA. It needs some TLC, but will again make Morse music! N0JL
